TV - QueerSighted caught up with Brad Goreski and Taylor Jacobson from the hit Bravo reality show The Rachel Zoe Project last week. Brad, who is known for his signature bow tie and glasses, grew up in a small town in Ontario, Canada. Coming out at 18, he credits his Mom and Dad for being so awesome. "They never discouraged me from singing around the house and playing with Barbies" he recalls. Being in theatre and memorizing the entire soundtrack of Les Miserables did not help him hide his sexuality for too long either.


The hilarious pair, who bicker like siblings on the show, seemed to get along quite well as they chatted on everything from fashion to guilty pleasures.

QS: What is your favorite "Zoe-ism"?
Brad Goreski (BG): Shut it Down
Taylor Jacobson (TJ): I hate them all

QS: Of anyone you have yet to style, who would you most like to work with?
BG: Emma Watson
TJ: Britney Spears, 50 Cent or Jay-Z

QS: What is your secret guilty pleasure?
BG: Shopping.
TJ: The Hills (MTV Reality Show)

QS: What was the last song you played on your iPod?
BG: Shakira's "She Wolf" rawr! (yes, Brad growled)
TJ: Mariah Carey's "Obsessed"

QS: If you could only wear one designer for the rest of your life, who would it be?
BG: Tom Ford
TJ: Balenciaga

QS: What do you think of Whitney's comeback album?
BG: Love it! I love the song "Million Dollar Bill". It could be the only song on the album! I also like "I Look to You". Drag Queens around the country shed a tear when they heard that song. She is amazing and a legend.

QS: What are your three style "must haves"?
TJ: Sunglasses, Designer Bag and Great Shoes.

QS: Why does everything seem to come down to the last minute on the show?
BG: Things always have to come down to the last minute. The gowns are at PR shoots or being shown around the world and oftentimes we are only allowed to have the gowns for a few days. It's really stressful.
TJ: Because people are retarded.

QS: Where can we find you on your days off?
BG: Doing pilates and working out.
TJ: "Air pumping". (Which, as described to QS, is a dance move similar to the way you get an 18 wheeler truck driver to blow his horn. Your arm awkwardly in the air pumping up and down!).

The pair also dished on what it is like to work for the iconic fashion stylist Rachel Zoe. "She is a cool boss that provides us with a lot of responsibilities and freedoms, and she trusts her team implicitly" said Taylor. As the season two finale comes to an end tonight, Brad and Taylor were not able to give QS any information on whether or not Taylor quits (which, I believe she does not as she was chatting with me from Rachel's studio), but they did say that there might be some changes to titles for Brad and Taylor. Now if I could only get Brad to style me!
